As and when your website grows, you can graduate to a higher hosting plan with BigRock or some other hosting company of your choice. Either way, to access your hosting account and host your website on the server space they provide, you will have to log in to your hosting account. In this write-up, we will go for a detailed discussion on how to login to your BigRock web hosting account. In case you happen to be an existing customer, you need not read any further unless you have blissfully forgotten your password or you do not remember the URL through which you can log into your hosting account with BigRock.

Let us begin.

BigRock Login: URL for Signing Up with (or Logging Into) BigRock

To get a hosting account, you will need to register with the BigRock website. The procedure is pretty simple. Depending on whether you are located in the United States of America or India, you need to use any of the two following URLs:

The two links or URLs will return two different websites that look pretty much the same. The dot COM version looks like this:

The dot IN version looks like this:

There isn’t much of design difference between the two, but there are some definitive differences between the two regarding offerings. Visit the website that you need.

You will have to sign up or login in both the cases. You can find the option for the same in the upper righthand corner of the website(s). Take a look at the image below:

BigRock Login: Registering a new account

Once you click on the option, you will be taken to a new page where you will see the screen for registering a new account or for logging into your existing BigRock account. You can see the following page on your computer screen:

Assuming that you are signing up for the first time, you need to click on the link which reads ‘Create an Account.’ If you are an existing customer of BigRock, and you have your login credentials, you can use them in the form you see and hit the Login button.

Assuming that you want to sign up and you clicked on the link which reads ‘Create an Account,’ the page you will see next is the following:

Key in the necessary details as per the instructions are given into the form you see. Make sure that you keep your account information safe by saving it in a different word document or text file. You need to remember only the username or email and the password. Once you fill in all the details, all you have to do is click on the Register button. The button remains ‘greyed out’ until you fill in all the details. You cannot click on the button at this stage. Once you provide all the information, the button will become clickable. Click on it, and your registration will complete. You will receive an email from BigRock confirming your registration.

BigRock Login: Recovering a forgotten password

The option of recovering a password comes on the login/registration page itself. You can use the option of recovering password only if you have an existing account with BigRock, but you do not remember your password or your username. Whatever the case be, you need to click on the ‘Forgot Password’ link. Check out the image below:

After you click on that hyperlink, you will have to provide the email ID that you used for creating an account with BigRock in the first place. When you click on the link, a new page will show up with a single-field form keying in your email ID. Give your email ID and hit the button below which reads ‘Send reset instructions.’ Check out the image below:

Once you opt for resetting the password, you will receive an email. The email will contain a link. After you click on the link, you will land on a new page on BigRock website where you need to key in a new password. Once you reset the password, go back to the BigRock URL (dot In or dot COM URL) and select the login/signup option and log in!

BigRock Login: Logging into Your Hosting Account or BigRock Control Panel

BigRock Control Panel or BigRock Hosting Account is where you will see the list of all your orders after your BigRock login is successful. It can be a domain name that you registered through BigRock (yes, the company is also a domain registrar) or a hosting space that you purchased (can be shared hosting, dedicated hosting, VPS hosting or cloud hosting). The screen that you will see is:

There are several options in the menu options that you can see on the page. However, you need to understand that since the screen you see is your account dashboard, you will not see any offers that BigRock is providing. To access the offers, you need to visit the homepage of the company. In case you only registered with BigRock, and you are yet to purchase anything, the list of orders will not show anything. If you have products, they will show up on the list along with their respective expiry dates. You can renew when the time comes, or you can also renew in advance. The choice lies with you. To access the renewal option, click on any product on the screen. The next page you see will contain the option for renewing the product.
